Our Home Away from Home: Hostel Hispana
Our stay
Hostel Hispana...wow. What can we say? This place brings back so many memories. I guess I'll start with the background--this hostel--basically Hotel--is a combination of family and business. A wonderful, welcoming family that hails from Spain owns Hostel Hispana. The front is a cafe/buffet that opens for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and merienda. On the back is where the guests stay--in cozy rooms fit from 1-4. (Pictured on the right). The staff is always very friendly and the food is spectacular.
In our month-long stay here, the staff became more like family to us. We'd see them night and day, and sometimes even early in the morning.
The hotel offers many amenities such as a swimming pool, a large balcony, maid-staff, a pagoda, and more! Overall, there is a very relaxed feeling around the hotel. Everyone, even the patrons, are always willing to sit down and have a chat over coffee.
The main thing, in my opinion, to stress, is that we all absolutely
loved the hotel and the staff. We all miss it too!
